Inmate Visitation Rules

Visitation
Seventy-two (72) hours after being remanded to the custody of the Sheriff, you will be allowed one (1) visit per week for a period of not less than twenty (20) minutes. The following are the rules and regulations of visitation along with the visitation schedule.

 
Weekday:    
  Males Last name A - I Monday night from 1900 - 2100
    Last name J - R Tuesday night from 1900 - 2100
    Last name S - Z Wednesday night from 1900 - 2100
    Last sign in will be no later than 2045
     
  Females Thursday nights from 1900 - 2100
    Last sign in will be no later than 2045
Weekend:    
  Male Last name A - 1 Saturday morning from 0900-1100
    Last sign in will be no later than 1045
    Last name J - R Saturday afternoon from 1230 - 1430
    Last sign in will be no later than 1415
    Last name S - Z Saturday evenings 1900 - 2100
    Last sign in will be no later than 2045
     
  Females Sunday afternoons from 1230 - 1430
    Last sign in will be no later than 1415
  1. You will have to fill out a visitation request on Sundays. You will choose either a weekday or weekend visitation for the week and will be allowed three (3) visitors. If there are more than three (3) names on the visitation request, that visitation request will be denied. Sunday is the only day visitation request may be changed.
  2. All visitation requests must be completed and handed in by 10:00pm Sunday night. Visitation request handed in past 10:00pm will not be accepted.
  3. If you are dressed into population after Sunday 10:00pm and will be here over seventy-two (72) hours before a scheduled visitation, you may fill out a visitation request for that weeks visit.
  4. Once you change your visitation request, the previous request is no longer valid.
  5. Minor children under the age of eight years of age who need not be named on the visitors list a birth-certificate shall be provide to verify the age of minor child.
  6. All visitors over the age seventeen (17) and older must show a valid photo ID that list their date of birth and present address (Drivers license, State ID, FOID or Passport).
  7. No one under the age of seventeen shall be allowed to visit an inmate unless accompanied by parent or court appointed legal guardian and posses with them a certified copy of their birth certificate. Failure to provide a birth certificate will terminate the visit for the minor child and the parent / legal guardian.
  8. Any other forms of ID will not be accepted including but not limited to:
    a. Tickets.
    b. School ID’s (unless with a parent/legal guardian)
    c. Public Aid or Social Security cards.
    d. Work Badges.
  9. If a visitors name is not on the visitation request, that person will be denied the visit.
  10. Visitors may only visit one (1) inmate per day.
  11. Any inmate who is an inmate at another institution will not be allowed to visit.
  12. Any visitors who have been confined in this facility may not visit until thirty (30) days after their release.
  13. All visitors shall wear shirts and shoes and shall not wear clothing that is provocative or offensive to anyone.
  14. Visitors are not allowed to bring anything in for the inmate with the exception of money which will only be accepted via KIOSK.
  15. Visitors who do not abide by the rules and regulations shall have their visit terminated immediately.
  16. All visitors are subject to search. 
Any visitor who does not comply with visiting room rules shall have the visit terminated. Subsequent violations may result in the visitor being permanently banned from visiting any person incarcerated at the Kendall County Corrections Facility. Visitation may be canceled or altered at any time in the event of an emergency, unusual occurrence, extenuating circumstances or deemed necessary by the Corrections Commander
