Inmate Visitation Rules
Weekday:    
  Males Last name A – I Monday night from 1700 – 2000
    Last name J – R Tuesday night from 1700 – 2000
    Last name S – Z Wednesday night from 1700 -2000
    Last sign in will be no later than 1945 weekdays
     
  Females Thursday nights from 1700 - 2000
    Last sign in will be no later than 1945
Weekend:    
  Male Last name A – I Sunday morning from 0800 – 1100
    Last sign in will be no later than 1030
    Last name J – R Sunday afternoon from 1130 –1430
    Last sign in will be no later than 1400
    Last name S – Z Sunday evening from 1530 – 1830
    Last sign in will be no later than 2100
     
  Females Sunday evenings from 1830 – 2130
    Last sign in will be no later than 2100
  1. Visitors may only visit one inmate per day.

  2. All visitors age seventeen (17) and older must show a valid photo ID that list their date of birth and address (drivers license, FOID, state ID, Passport).

  3. Any visitors age sixteen (16) and under must be with a parent or court appointed legal guardian and provide a certified copy of their birth certificate with the exception of. It is understood that there are inmates in the facility who have children they want to see but do not want to see the child’s other non incarcerated parent and vice/versa. In cases such as this, grandparents only are allowed to bring in the inmates child / their grandchild for visitation. The grandparents must bring in the following; 
    1. Certified copy of the child’s birth certificate.
    2. Letter that is signed and dated by the non incarcerated parent of the child who is not coming to the detention facility giving permission for the child to visit the inmate.
    3. Letter must state who is bringing the child into the detention facility for visiting.
    4. Copy of the non incarcerated parents valid State ID showing their picture, address, date of birth and signature who is granting permission for the visit.
    5. Visitors under the age of eight (8) do not need to be placed on the visitors list and shall not constitute as a visit.
    6. If a visitors name is not on the visitors list, they will be denied access to visit.
    7. Visitors who have been confined in the facility within the past thirty (30) days or who are on periodic imprisonment elsewhere shall not be allowed to visit.
    8. All visitors shall wear shirts and shoes and shall not wear clothing that is provocative, offend, or provoke anyone. Tube tops or tops with spaghetti straps are prohibited. Pants shall be worn as intended and shall not be lower than the waist. Skirts shall not be higher than 4 inches above the knee.
    9. Visitors are not allowed to bring anything into the jail for an inmate with the exception of money which is to be entered into the Stellar machine.
    10. Visitors may bring in inmate medication / glasses or other medical supplies to be approved by the nurse.
  4. Visitors who are caught trespassing in areas clearly marked “No Trespassing” outside of the Sheriff’s Office shall be banned from visitation for a minimum of thirty (30) days if charges of Trespassing are not filed.
  5. Visitors who are caught trespassing in areas clearly marked “No Trespassing” outside of the Sheriff’s Office shall be banned from visitation permanently if charges of Trespassing are filed.
  6. Any visitor who does not comply with visiting room rules shall have the visit terminated. Subsequent violations may result in the visitor being permanently banned from visiting any person incarcerated at the Kendall County Corrections Facility.
