According to Census Bureau statistics released in March 2008, Kendall County's estimated population of 96,818 in 2007 made it the fastest growing county in the United States (among counties with a population of 10,000 or greater) between the years 2000 and 2007, as well as the county experiencing the second greatest job growth during the same period.
