Traffic Advisories

Road construction will begin on Orchard Road on May 18, 2009. The project begins on Orchard Road just south of U.S. Route 34 near the Fox River and extends northerly to Mill Road, a total distance of about 1 mile. Improvements will include widening Orchard Road from 2 lanes to 4 lanes, as well as making intersection improvements at Route 34, Lewis Street, and Mill Road.

Orchard Road will be open to thru-traffic, however, daily lane closures may be in effect over the next 5 months. Motorists are urged to use caution throughout the work zones. Motorists are also encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid potential traffic delays.
