Laws of Nature Center & Environmental Education
 

Hands on fun awaits at the Laws of Nature Center. Exhibits on prairies, insects, Native Americans and more. Visit with live bees, snakes, salamanders and frogs. A great place to bring the family or a school group. The Laws of Nature Center is located at 110 W. Madison Street in downtown Yorkville in the old Historic Court-house. Hours are Tuesday-Saturdays, noon to 4 p.m. Museum Brochure(pdf)

The Forest Preserve District offers a variety of youth, family and adult programs and events throughout the year. Summer camps, the Fox River Getaway Canoe Trip, and the Native American Heritage Day are some of our larger events.
