Animal Control helps animals find homes. We also take care of lost animals within the county. |

Responsible for maintaining records of real and personal property ownership for use in determining taxation. |

| Circuit Clerk |
The Circuit Clerk processes and keeps all court records. Collects all court costs, filling fee, fines and any other cost assessed by the court. Assists circuit and associate judges in the daily functions to the court. |
| The Coroner conducts investigations to determine the cause and manner of death, pursuant to the Illinois state Statutes. | |
| County Administration | The County Administration provides a number of services for the County Board and oversees the activities and staff for the departments of Technology, Facilities Management, Planning, Building and Zoning and Animal Control. |
| Court Administration | Responsible for scheduling and administrative support for the judges of Kendall county, as well as various administrative duties for the courthouse as a whole. |
| County Board | The County Board is the elected body that sets county policy, ordinances and budget appropriations for programs. |
| County Clerk | Computes tax rates based on levies and assessed valuations. Processes marriage license and other vital records. |
| County Recorder | The County Recorder records all land transaction documents including liens, mortgages and deeds. |

| Forest Preserve | Preserve and manage natural areas and open spaces, provide environmental education, and offer recreational opportunities for Kendall County residents |

| GIS/Mapping | GIS technology helps Kendall County to streamline business practices while adhering to complex political and regulatory requirements. |

| Health Department | Lead agency for public health, mental health, environmental health & health education services. We offer service coordination & referrals internally & to other agencies. Home energy assistance, weatherization services & community services block grant programs are also available. |
| Highway Department | We build and maintain county highways and bridges and assist in the construction of township roads and bridges. |

| KenCom | KenCom is the Public Safety Answering Point for 9-1-1 Emergencies and provides Dispatch of Fire, Police and Emergency Medical Services for the residents of Kendall County. |

| Jury Commission | Determines the eligibility of prospective jurors from a combined listing of drivers and voters. |

| Planning, Building & Zoning | Responsible for the administration and enforcement of the County’s ordinances regulating the development of land. |
| Probation & Court Services | Provides supervision to individuals who have been ordered by the court to abide by certain conditions as part of a sentence. |
| Public Defender | Represents individuals involved in cases in various areas. |

| State's Attorney | State's Attorney office has county-wide jurisdiction to prosecute various criminal offenses. |

| Treasurer | Responsibilities include the statutory duties required as County Treasurer for the County of Kendall and as Ex-Officio County Collector of Real Estate Property Taxes and Drainage District Taxes for the entire county. |
