Kendall County Zoning
Board of Appeals
The Kendall County Board is looking
for interested persons residing in Fox Township to serve on the
Kendall County Zoning Board of Appeals. The Zoning Board of Appeals
is comprised of seven members each representing a different township
within the County. The Board of Appeals is a recommending body
to the County Board and is responsible for conducting public hearings
and finding of facts on zoning amendments, variances to the requirements
of the County's zoning regulations and appeals of determinations
made by the Zoning Administrator in the enforcement and interpretation
of the County's zoning ordinance. The Board of Appeals meets the
fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00PM. Meetings are held in the
County Board Room located on the second floor (Rooms 209 &
210) of the County Administration Building, 111 W. Fox Street,
Yorkville, IL 60560. Interested Fox Township residents should
submit their information to County Board Chair Anne Vickery in
care of the County Administrator's Office, 111 W. Fox Street,
Yorkville, IL 60560.
Kendall County Historic
Preservation Commission Announces Opening
The Kendall County Historic Preservation
Commission is accepting applications from residents of Little
Rock, Fox, Kendall, NaAuSay, Big Grove, Lisbon and Seward townships.
Service on the Committee is non-paid and will extend until May
2012. Interested applicants may contact Commission Chair Stephenie
